Our Story

Hello, this is Austin & Rebekah Lebahn. We are grateful to raise our growing family on a generational family farm.

Lebahn Farm began with Austin's grandparents and will hopefully be passed on to the next generation of Lebahn farmers. We've been married for 15 years now, and started this journey just five years ago. The adjustment has been difficult, but well worth the effort.

Farm life was never in our sights as a young married couple. But, with a few years of real life experiences and a few kids later, we realized the value in raising your own food,  and what price you can put on health and education.

Moving to the farm gave us the opportunity for our kids to see where their food comes from. Tasting the difference , and taking ownership of hard work.

It's a chance to develop character skills , have an understanding of selfless acts by  caring for somthing else, and leaving things better than you found it.

Raising our family here has been the best decision. It wasn't easy for two city kids to figure it all out. We've failed, got up and failed again , enough times to get it right after so many times. Staying humble, and realizing there is always something to learn along the way.

The farm has brought us closer as a family. Giving us more time with our kids, and learning alongside them. There's more to life than what they tell you. There is a simple place to enjoy it all.  To watch the sun rise while raking a field, or catching the moonlight as a new calf is born. It's what makes it all worth it.

We've taken the methods of farming our grandparents used, and rejuvenated the ways to be better for the land and the animals. We are thankful for the opportunity to have these food freedoms. Choosing the best food for our family, and yours.
